BLUE HERON

Found near wetland habitats in North America. They wade through water with their long legs and eat fish with their long, sharp beaks. Look for their large stick nests high in the trees near the shorelines or riverbanks.

TURTLES

Turtles are reptiles with bony shells. They are aquatic animals that live near any type of water.

FANTAILS

Fantails are birds with tails shaped like a fan. They eat flying insects and are often seen flitting and flying in New Zealand forests.

Fun fact: their native Maori name is piwakawaka.

One drop is a colorful and fun book. It’s about a tiny droplet that comes to life- the pictures are amazing and I love the details in the artwork. Oops! Can’t tell you the whole story!
